This homeowner wanted to be the first on her block to improve curb appeal by moving away from neglected lawn toward a low-maintenance garden with wow factor. We removed the lawn, added soil undulations to create a sense of privacy, recycled her existing Japanese Maple tree into a more focal location, integrated a dish stone and mixed interest plantings to attract songbirds. And, because she wanted just a bit of lawn, we seeded a tiny plot of mixed-plant “eco-turf” that requires less mowing, watering and other inputs than traditional grass turf.
“I hardly know what to say…it looks amazing. I could not be more pleased with the way it turned out…I wish more things were this easy and the people I deal with as pleasant as you have been.” – The happy homeowner
