Congrats Norie!

I’ll have to try and catch that. Thanks for the info. There are so few actual garden shows anymore, especially this time of year.

  2. Willi says:

Ooh! Cool! I love moss. I collected some really cool specimens last year on a native plant salvage. I’ll have to try and watch this tonight! Thanks for the heads up.

    Hi Norie,

Your tour of your moss garden on HGTV was really enjoyable.

I’ve always had an interest in moss, but have never seen a program as informative as yours. You sure have become an expert, and do so nicely at sharing your enthusiasm and know how. I had no idea you could make usable walkways and paths of moss, they’re so beautiful.

But mostly, I had a wonfderful time taking a stroll with you through your garden. You are so easy to listen to and so pleasant to hear talk. I could almost smell the earthy fragrance and freshness, as we meandered through your garden, you pointing out many of the pretty highlights.

Your sons must love their mom, such a nice lady you are.

Thank you for a pleasant memory to reflect back on, a half hour vacation.

Are there any varieties that grow well in arid/dry climates? We have a waterfall at a park, a spot where the mist keeps it constantly wet; it’s the only place I’ve seen moss in Colorado Springs. I too, plant it at the base of potted plants, it thrives and seems to hold in the moisture.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Joe!

Thanks for your kind comments about my moss garden. It’s been my joy for years now. I’m so glad to hear you’re a ‘mossketeer’ too. Keep it up. It nurtures your senses and blesses the environment.

    Moss away, Norie
