Robin was featured speaker for a virtual workplace environmental sustainability/well-being event. While the program was somewhat informal, it was produced in a corporate context so there were hard deadlines and risk reviews of slides to manage. Robin did a great job. Because of her years of experience she was able to pull together customized content that met our needs, and had her presentation slides ready for review in ample time. It all made my team’s work a lot easier. Audience was motivated to grow food after the program, received great feedback from attendees and hosts. I should note the audience was composed of folks who regularly present for a living, so her public speaking chops met some high standards. Robin did need to project her own slides/content for copyright reasons which was an unusual request for us, but virtual setting posed no issues with that ask. Spot-on content and polished speaker.

Fantastic Inspiration! I feel like Robin has opened my eyes. After moving to Orcas Island a little over 2 years ago and acquiring 1.1 acres of property, much of which is garden, I now look at it differently. I have always admired “wild gardens”—gardens that were not formally arranged in neat borders and rows. But I have never been very good at making my garden “wild” in a good way. Now I am looking at the plants that I can’t seem to win, and letting em be a part of my landscape. Robin is extremely knowledgeable and personable and fun, suggesting things that I never would have thought of and I high(ly) recommend her.

Primo Plantings for Pollinators was great! Robin provided a lot of detailed information on pollinators as well the various types of flowers and plants that pollinators need. She included numerous beautiful photos and useful handouts. I’m definitely going to try some of her tips to encourage pollinators in my neighborhood.

Thank you, Robin, for sharing your experience of Paris! You introduced parts of the city, as well as outskirts, that I would never thought of visiting. The gardens you chose were beautiful and I really appreciated the history and tidbits about the areas.,,the restroom tips were awesome! I’ve seen Robin speak several times and with each topic she delivers a ton of great information in a fun engaging way! She relates to kids, people gardening with pets (even bees!) and anyone who wants to grow their own food. Anytime she is scheduled at garden shows I make a point to sit in on her talks!
